You have just arrived in time for tea!

Hello Ladies,
I am a little late in posting Tea Cup Tuesday today, because I was baking some zucchini bread! It is still warm, so please join me. I would like to thank Martha at  http://www.marthasfavorites.com/

and Terri at
 http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/
 for hosting Tea Cup Tuesday!

My first teacup today is made by Aynsley. It is pink! With roses! And forget-me-nots! It is rimmed with frilly gold "lace".

The edge of the cup is ridged which gives the design more definition.

The second teacup here is made by Royal China of England. It is also pink! With roses! And gold "lace!

Here is a pic of the two together.

I picked this cake plate up a few weeks ago at The Salvation Army.

It has a small chip on the base, but it is still a beauty inmy eyes.

Mmmmmm.....are you ready! This is why I was late to post!
I was waiting for my zucchini bread to bake!

Tea is served. Hurry.....get "the money" before it disappears!

The suds which are made when you pour the tea into the milk already in the cup are called "the money".  I think it is an English superstition.

Yummy!

The teapot is Anysley also. I don't know the pattern. The design at the top of the pot and along the lid is of flowers and blackbirds.
I hope you have enjoyed our visit today. Happy Tea Cup Tuesday!
Hugs, Laura

  5. Hello- There certainly is a lot of zucchini bread on Teacup Tuesday today. I might have to break down and attempt a gluten free loaf of zucchini bread. Your teacup is so pretty and delicate, but your teapot makes me smile. It looks like candy. Take care.

  7. I'm so glad you dropped by for tea today! I'm following you now and look forward to getting to know you better. The zucchini bread looks delicious! We have an abundance of zucchini so I should be making some this week too. Love both your tea cups and your tea pot too! I actually have a match to that first tea cup. It's one of my favourites. What's not to like with pink and roses and frilly gold lace? Beautiful! :)

  10. Well here it is Thursday, and I am still making the Teacup Tuesday rounds.

I love your teacups and your teapot. They are beautiful. Of course, pink is one of my favorite colors (green's the other), so anything pink is a beauty in my book.

I love zucchini bread. I shred a bunch of zucchini and put it in freezer bags in the summer, and then I can have fresh zucchini bread in the winter.

    Have a wonderful day,
    Patti
